On the first trip to MegaBike Taiping about a month ago we got a few essential motorcycle gears. One of them was a glove for my friend. She has a leather horse riding gloves which she has been using all this while while riding but I felt it unsafe. It doesn't have the necessary armor protection in an event of a crash so was glad she went to look at gloves when we were there. There were other types of gloves available in the shop but after trying them all, she kept coming back to this model: Komine GK-220 Motorcycle gloves.
Information booklet
This glove is a 3 season glove which is suitable for Summer, Spring and Autumn as 3 season is fine by us because where we are from it is always summer and sometimes the feeling and early autumn with heavy downpour.

Features and protection:
Smart tip for smart phone compatibility. Komine have sewn conductive leather at the fingertips on the pointer and thumb for both sides of the gloves. |
Mesh available for only 2 and a half fingers for more airflow. Mesh can be found on the inner side of the index finger, both sides of the middle and ring finger and the outer side of the little finger. This makes sense as those will not be the contact area with the road should the rider go down. |
There are inner finger protection for all except the thumb and knuckle protection.
Foam padding below the thumb |
There is a mesh panel on the palm above the palm carbon protection. |
Additional leather sewn for a better grip of the handlebars. |
There is a way to know if your Komine riding apparels are genuine or counterfeit. Every Komine apparel after 2014 has a label called the Forgery Prevention Label. This label allows you to check with your smart phone if the item is genuine. If they do not have the label or is not genuine, buy at own risk or go to another shop.

Conclusion:
Since this glove is not mine therefore I cannot comment on how it fairs but according to the owner, it was tight the first time became more comfortable as time goes on. This is probably due to the gloves has stretched out and forms to the shape of her hand. The gloves are also very airy due to the amount of mesh on it.
Remember to ride safe, be vigilant and keep the rubber side down
